The CEU Center for European Neighborhood Studies (CENS) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) cordially invite you to the roundtable
Democracy and Good Governance in the Western Balkans
This event will examine the nature and credibility of democracy and good governance in the Western Balkans and how democracy and good governance are enhanced by key factors such as EU’s commitment to the region, key infrastructure projects and general support from the civil society. The roundtable will put emphasis on new and positive recent developments despite none of the countries will be ready to join during the mandate of the current Commission. (e.g. NATO’s invitation to Montenegro to join the Alliance; Bosnia and Herzegovina’s application for EU membership in February 2016; Serbia’s firm EU perspective).
Please RSVP with Hana Semanić at semanich@ceu.edu
