Surviving Eugenics was created by team members of the Living Archives on Eugenics in Western Canada, a Community-University Research Alliance (CURA) project funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). The Living Archives on Eugenics in Western Canada is a five year research project comprised of an alliance between research scholars, students, sterilization survivors, community organizations and advocates. The Living Archives directly engages communities in developing accessible historical resources to enhance public understanding of an important part of history of eugenics in Canada.
