Artistic Counter-Speech to Prejudices: "Hate Speech" Monologues 2017/3

Performance
Tuesday, November 21, 2017, 7:00 pm

All are welcome (with free entrance) to this performance, an artistic counter-speech to prejudices, "hate speech" and discrimination. Please invite friends, also on face book and share this event: https://www.facebook.com/events/376140746154155/

The event photo was taken by Renny Hahamovitch, published in the October 20, 2017 issue of the CEU Weekly with the following caption: "A government-funded billboard advertising the ongoing national consultation on the "Soros Plan" - viewed from a Jewish cemetery in Szeged, Hungary."

The "Hate Speech" Monologues is a multicultural theater that engages us in reflection on prejudices, including our own prejudices. It is a participatory artistic counter-speech to "hate speech", aiming to turn prejudices to appreciation of diversity. It is performed by CEU students and Peter Molnar who invented the "Hate Speech" Monologues at CEU in 2012 and has directed it since then.

The performance will be about one hour long, followed by a talk back and reception. Please bring prejudiced friends!
