Please join us for Philanthropy Week's Keynote Address by Franz Karl Prüller, Senior Advisor to the Board, ERSTE Foundation on Wednesday, November 29, 5:30pm.
Franz Karl Prueller has been Senior Advisor to the ERSTE Foundation Board since 2016. He was previously Director of the Social Development Program (2005-13), Member of the Board (2012-16), and the Board’s Chair (2015-16). Prior to ERSTE, he worked at Caritas Austria for 17 years. During that time he represented Caritas Austria on the executive boards of Caritas Internationalis and Europa; chaired the charitable foundation Neighbor in Need; was in charge of Caritas’ disaster relief and Central and Eastern Europe programs; and helped rebuild Caritas organizations in the Czech Republic, Romania, and Bulgaria, among others.
ERSTE Foundation is active in the Central and South Eastern European region. Founded in 2003, ERSTE develops strategies that support awareness raising and knowledge creation for responsible and active citizens, enabling them to stand for and support liberal, democratic values and European cohesion. ERSTE Foundation also offers inspiring examples of successful social integration and cultural innovation; and promotes artists and cultural producers engaged in critical societal developments to a wider audience. http://www.erstestiftung.org/
