Energy poverty as a socio-environmental phenomenon continues to draw the attention of scholars and practitioners. The injustice of unequal access to energy services and negligence of vulnerable consumers gain relevance in the context of the EU-led low-carbon energy transition and climate change mitigation efforts. The aim of this round table is to discuss energy poverty, energy justice and energy vulnerability in European context from both theoretical and empirical point of view. Different dimensions of energy poverty, its consequences and country-specific policies from Hungary, Spain, the Netherlands and Lithuania will be presented.
