What keeps us connected to our roots in a foreign place? This question keeps popping up in our courses and discussions as students of the Cultural Heritage Studies Program at CEU.
After collecting the items sent to heritagebackpack.net, we invite everyone to get ready for an afternoon discussion, where heritage and CEU will have a “personal meeting” and where we will have time to get to know each other.
This online event organized by the students of first years’ Cultural Heritage Studies Program is a cultural trip waiting to reveal the beauty and hidden meaning of each culture represented at CEU.
The event will take place on zoom, and we invite you to register here https://bit.ly/3sv050v
For those ready to compete, or to challenge their mind a bit, let’s QUIZ! The questions for the game will be related to everything which has been previously shared on the heritagebackpack.net platform. Let’s all meet there first!
Heritage Dialogue - 16:00 - 17:00
Break & Music - 17:00 - 17:30

So pick up your Heritage Backpack! Put on good "shoes" of curiosity, dress up in comfy and "open-minded" clothes and get ready for the journey!
Heritage Backpack is a cultural project organized by the students of first years’ Cultural Heritage Studies Program is a cultural trip waiting to reveal the beauty and hidden meaning of each culture represented at CEU.
The motivation behind the program is to explore and know the CEU community as a family, particularly now, in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic, where the community is disconnected physically. The idea of the project was inspired by these particular times, and the exploration of those personal and cultural elements that keep people connected to their roots in a foreign place. We aim to use this as an opportunity to bring the community close together.
