Political Risk analysis and forecasting involves gathering and synthesizing information on a region or country, determining the causes and sources of potential risks (usually in relation to investments), and then reporting the findings and making recommendations. Political risk analysts / consultants usually possess excellent research and analytical skills, strong communication and writing, and often regional and/or country-specific expertise.
