Dear CEU MA Students,
Visual Studies Platform (VSP) Steering Committee cordially invites you to an information session introducing the Advanced Certificate in Visual Theory and Practice and other VSP initiatives on Tuesday, September 26 at 5.30pm in C-323 room (Vienna campus) or remotely via this zoom link.
Founded in 2014, VSP is a cross-disciplinary initiative designed to explore and propose innovative approaches to research and teaching visual imagery in the digital century. The Advanced Certificate Program in Visual Theory and Practice (VTP) offers students the core knowledge and the skills to pursue visual research and produce media and visual work related to their own fields of study. In addition to the courses VSP organizes masterclasses, public lectures, workshops, screenings, and other public programs with invited scholars and artists to make students familiar with, and engage in, interdisciplinary dialogues on visual imagery across various fields of study.
