Employer Event
Green jobs for Youth / UNEP (https://www.unep.org/explore-topics/education-environment/what-we-do/green-jobs-youth)
Thursday, October 6, 2022, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

The United Nations Environment Programme is the global authority that sets the environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment.

The organization works on delivering transformational change for people and nature by drilling down on the root causes of the three planetary crises of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste. UNEP employs seven interlinked subprogrammes for action: Climate Action, Chemicals and Pollutions Action, Nature Action, Science Policy, Environmental Governance, Finance and Economic Transformations and Digital Transformations.

During this session you will learn more about:

  • UNEP's work
  • The wide range of career opportunities available for interested alumni and graduate students at CEU
  • The application and selection process and how to apply to the organization through the UN Secretariat INSPIRA platform

There will be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation, so come prepared with questions!
