Speaker

CPS Research Fellow Sara Svensson presents at the SPP Research Seminar preliminary findings from fieldwork carried out for the Horizon 2020 Project SOLIDUS, “Solidarity in European Societies: Empowerment, Social Justice, and Citizenship”. Through case studies of initiatives and organizations, the Hungarian team has investigated Hungarian solidarity-based practices across five policy sectors (housing, migration, health, education, and employment). The presentation elaborates on how these acts are motivated and manifested, and discusses the challenges inherent in identifying policy implications of relevance in Hungary and beyond.
