Careers with Translators without Borders

Interested in working as translator or interpreter, responding to urgent communications and language needs in humanitarian settings, providing vital information to people in need, in a language they can understand?

Then join us for the upcoming presentation hosted by CEU alumna Nurangiz Khodzharova (IR’08), currently working as Project Manager, Words of Relief European Refugee Response at Translators without Borders  -  the world’s leading non-profit translation organization. TWB works with non-profit partners globally to respond to challenges related to communication and language; it provides people access to vital knowledge in their language by connecting non-profit organizations with a professional community of translators; building local language translation capacity; and raising awareness of language barriers.
International opportunities as volunteers, paid interns or contract employees will be discussed.

 Nurangiz has 7 years of experience with international projects and organizations in philanthropy, development, migration, HIV/AIDS, media, and sustainable business. She has lived and worked across Europe, Middle East, and North America, gaining valuable multicultural and international experience. Besides her CEU master’s degree, Nurangiz has received an MSc in International Development and Management from Lund University and served as Atlas Corps Fellow at Net Impact in San Francisco Bay Area.
