Career Camp: Professional CV Photo Shooting session for CEU students

In many countries, it is advised to have your professional headshot attached to your resume (CV for job application). Studies also show that LinkedIn search results with photos beside them are seven times more likely to be clicked than entries without photos. As important as choosing your formal outfit for an interview or polishing your job application, including a professional photo speaks about you as a candidate.

Career Office brings a professional photo shooting studio to campus, ran by an experienced photographer who received very good feedback from hundreds of CEU students in the past few years. After participating, you will receive 8-12 quality pictures for download, in low and high resolution, from which you will be able to select one to be professionally processed (retouched).

Important! As a courtesy to your fellow students, book a time slot only if you seriously intend to participate and pay. This fee has been calculated based on the photographer price and number of available slots. Thus, booking a time slot and not showing up / not cancelling your booking by Friday, February 10 if you cannot make it will not exempt you from paying the fee. Alternatively, you can find another colleague who can participate during your booked time slot. Thank you for understanding.

WHAT IS CAREER CAMP?
Career Camp is a week full of career development programs that will help you kick start working on your career goals. Sessions are designed to tackle the most pressing career related questions and topics that you may face while starting your job search. From longer workshops that deepen to a specific topic, to “grab and go” style lunch break info sessions, every CEU student can find a program that fits into his/her interest area.
This year’s topics: Personality and Career, Self-Assessment, Job Search Strategy, Job Search in the UK, CV Writing, Interview Skills, LinkedIn and a special CV Photo Shoot.
