Career Camp: CV Writing for job/internship applications - Starter Kit session

CEU students are kindly invited to join CV Writing for job/internship applications - Starter Kit session during CEU's Career Camp. 

About the session / What to write if you have little work experience? Education or work should go first? Do employers care about writing for a student newspaper or organizing a conference? Hobbies or no hobbies section in your CV? What to actually write in a CV? etc.

Join us in order to find answers to these questions and get ideas for improving your CV for jobs or internships! Bring along your draft and make sure you don't miss any good tip.

The 45-minute long session is designed for those who consider themselves beginners in writing applications or who have only written academic CVs so far, but would like to start job searching.

About the trainer / Cristina Balint-Nagy has been career adviser at Central European University for the past 10 years, accumulating experience in job search assistance, conducting workshops and training and creating programs that connect students and graduates with the job market. Lately Cristina has been focusing on doctoral career advising, offering help to those interesting in advancing their academic career. but also to the post-graduates that explore alternative paths.  

WHAT IS CAREER CAMP?
Career Camp is a week full of career development programs that will help you kick start working on your career goals. Sessions are designed to tackle the most pressing career related questions and topics that you may face while starting your job search. From longer workshops that deepen to a specific topic, to “grab and go” style lunch break info sessions, every CEU student can find a program that fits into his/her interest area.
This year’s topics: Personality and Career, Self-Assessment, Job Search Strategy, Job Search in the UK, CV Writing, Interview Skills, LinkedIn and a special CV Photo Shoot.
