WHAT DO THESE SERVICE CENTRES DO?

The establishment of global service centres has become common practice in the last two decades for international corporations and organizations. It basically means that an organization centralizes and consolidates different activities into one service-unit that supplies the other units (internal customers). Some international organizations who operate service centres in Hungary: UNHCR, FAO, UNICEF, IBM, ExxonMobil, etc. Global service centres are common career choices for CEU graduates as native/fluent language skills can be huge assets in these organizations.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

Global service centres can be exciting places to start a career. You can gain an insight to global operation and business from day 1, you can join an international environment, similar to what you got used to at CEU, and enjoy modern offices with an above-average compensation. Moreover, you don’t need lot of experience to get in. You can pick up the skills as you go and benefit from the high quality training programs most of these centres offer. Even if this is not your main goal, service centres can serve as a perfect plan B.
