The focus on this roundtable discussion will be the potential impact energy storage technology can make in the Central Eastern European region. - Jan Namyslo, Sales Leader Fluence Energy (A Siemens and AES Company), Germany. Fluence Is the supplier of the world's largest lithium-ion battery storage facility (100 MW) under construction in California.
- Csaba Kovács, Partner, KPMG, Energy and Utilities. Extensive experience in regulation and advisory fields of the energy sector and including energy storage technology.
- Tamás Bóday, CTO, HeatVenters. Start-up company focused on their HeatTANK technology that reduces storage volume by 87%. Partners include MVM and Nestle.
- István Slezsák, Grid Development Associate, ELMŰ. ELMŰ Grid Ltd.'s objective is the development, operations and maintenance of the electrical distributing grid in Budapest and it’s agglomeration and in North Hungary. His main role is the long-term planning of MV and LV grids. Furthermore, he investigates the excepted impacts on the grid of E-mobility and energy storages in middle- and long-term.
Central European University, the Energy Policy Research Group, and the Jean Monet Chair for Energy Innovation Strategies is organizing a round table discussion on March 6th, 2018.
