Pipeline gas has long dominated the European gas sector. Nonetheless, LNG may threaten this dominance. Global LNG capacity continues to expand, and notably from the US. How will this new dynamic impact traditional buyers of Russian gas? Will LNG just be a form of insurance against Russian supply disruptions and Gazprom dominance? This roundtable sets out to address the impact of LNG and pipeline gas in Europe and more specifically in Central Europe.
