The Community Engagement Office in collaboration with the Dean of Students Office, Human RightS Initiative, Alumni Office, the Center for Arts and Culture, CEU Psychological Counseling and Sustainable CEU is organizing the DeStress Season event for you between October 17 and November 15.

Interactive Dance Performance by Gördülő (Rolling) Dance-Ensemble

Thursday, October 18

Access Ability Day
The purpose of the event is to get you talking, thinking and learning about accessibility of physical environment, communication, and services at CEU and inclusion of students with different disabilities and abilities.

Felabration Concert
Felabration is a music festival founded in 1998. The original event in Lagos is a one-week happening, with countless guest performers, concerts and other events. For many years, independent, one-day Felabration concerts have been held in a growing number of cities around the world (London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo).

Budapest Improv Show- with Flavien Reppert
Looking for a great night of fun and laughter? Spend an inspiring and entertaining night with the Hungarian improvisation company – Momentán!

Do you believe that art can have a great role in creating social change? Are you interested how we could tackle social issues with the tools of art?

CEU's (Very Funny) English Stand Up Comedy Night presented by BP Comedy House
Comics from Sudan, Hungary, Romania, United Kingdom and the United States will provide a fun comedy night.

Karma Yoga Meditation
Karma Yoga meditation is an effective tool to restore and enhance the body’s energy circulation, release stress and resolve mental blocks while it also greatly facilities creativity and intuition by synchronising the left and right hemispheres of the brain. These informal, guided sessions improve both focus and the ability to relax, and also provide an opportunity to explore alternative ways of knowing, sensing and sense-making.

What is Stress? - Stress Management Workshop
What is stress? Is there a clear-cut definition? Are there different types of stress or it is just some kind of a negative stuff in your life? How do you know that you are under stress? And if you know that, what do you do about your stressors? Do you have coping strategies?  Is there anything you need to put in place so that you can effectively combat your daily stress? All are burning questions so that you can avoid burn out. During this one-hour long workshop we will introduce you to the core knowledge of stress management as seen by health psychologists. In addition, you will also gain a deeper insight into your own typical stress management skills.

DIY Natural and Sustainable Cosmetics and Home Supplies Workshop with Sustainable CEU
We invite you to join the Sustainable CEU team and members of the Happier Earth Project for a practical demonstration of how to prepare cosmetics and home supplies out of environmentally friendly natural materials. Pass by our stand located in the Nador 13 atrium during the lunch break on November 9th to learn how to prepare more environmentally friendly alternatives for toothpaste, soaps and moisturizing creams, household cleaners and more everyday items which can help you save money and reduce the amount of harmful chemicals in your living space.
