The Ritka Band (meaning „rare) was founded in September 2017 and has 4 permanent members: Alinka Blumenschein, Petra Ecsedi-Oláh, Boglárka Szilágyi, Borbála Teszáry. The ensemble’s core is fomed by current and former students of Music Academy. Their aim is to vocalize and bring to stage authentic Hungarian folk music from carefully chosen sources.
