Spira Mirabilis - Béla Bartók: Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta

Concert
The CEU Campus
Tuesday, February 19, 2019, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Spira Mirabilis presents a special interpretation of Béla Bartók: Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta. It will be a concert and interactive discussion about the musical approach of the ensemble.  Spira Mirablis is a project based ensemble working with young international artists. They meet time to time to work on a chosen project and present it to audiences all over Europe. The special feature is that every single musician takes over the work of a conductor. Spira Mirabilis describe their work: "Knowing the score, having a clear idea of interpretation is already in our mental backpack when we meet. Then one week is spent intensively to dig deep into the studied piece, to discuss, to argue against, to try out, to discover, to try to convince with good arguments.+Experiencing a concert of Spira is for audiences as well as for the musicians a unique moment of many people speaking and reacting to one another. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5DPe2dWewg Entrance for the event is free!
