Roundtable: Teaching about Energy: Insights, Perspectives and Challenges

Energy is an interdisciplinary topic which requires collaboration of various disciplines and perspectives to produce comprehensive outcomes. The purpose of this roundtable is to foster a dialogue and exchange ideas on effective - or ineffective - means to teach energy from a social science perspective. Key questions can include: How can this variety of energy scholarships be functionally integrated in a single syllabus? What are the techniques and materials used to stimulate student-based learning in the energy area? What are the best practices to translate the interdisciplinarity of energy to students? What are the key challenges lectures teaching energy face? The aim of this roundtable is to discuss the approaches, practices and challenges in teaching about energy in higher education context.
