CEU Human RightS Initiative is collaboration with Labrisz Lesbian Association is organizing a film screening followed by a moderated discussion to celebrate the LGBTQ History Month

Details about the event:

The documentary presents the history of queer women’s film making. The most significant lesbian filmmakers of the past 50 years tell about how they expressed their identities through the art of film. They talk about the intersection of experimental film and queer film and the role of activism in lesbian art groups. After the film screening there will be a roundtable discussion in Hungarian with Judit Bíró assistant director, Antonia Burrows feminist activist, Zsófia Szilágyi film director and Mária Takács film director.
