Panel discussion around the new book 'From Peoples into Nations. A History of Eastern Europe' by John Connelly (UC Berkeley), with the participation of John Connelly, Constantin Iordachi, István Rév and Balázs Trencsényi. The Discussion will focus on key notions and recent interpretative debates around the modern history of the region, as well as on the question of the actuality and viability of writing regional historical syntheses.
