The annual Hungarian Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic organized by the Hungarian Red Cross at CEU will take place on:
Date: Tuesday, March 17, 2020
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Place: CEU Budapest, Nador u. 11. #004
Are you generally healthy, between the ages of 18 and 60, and weigh at least 50 kgs then come and donate blood.
The blood donation process takes about 35-40 minutes and consists of the
following steps:
1. Registration for testing,
2. Giving blood, and
3. A short rest afterwards.
You will also be provided with water, a chocolate wafer and a 500 HUF meal ticket.
NOTE: Please make sure to have your picture ID, residence document (for Hungarians “Lakcimkartya”) and health insurance card on you.
Please note that the regulations changed, so you need to have official proof of your address in Hungary.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Drink minimum one liter liquid before,
- Do not drink too much coffee shortly before,
- Make sure you eat something before giving blood.
Remember, when you give blood you save lives!
