We are living in a world with a great acceleration of answers to many different challenges, but also in a world of increasing opportunities. One of them is the way we conceive sustainable transport in growing cities as a mobility requirement. This has been recognized as one of the targets of the Sustainable Development Goal 11. According to SDG 11.2. target by 2030 "access to safe, affordable, accessible and sustainable transport systems for all" is the priority. How can we create better sustainable transport solutions for growing cities which respond integrally to this goal? How to use common challenges as the key opportunities to tackle issues of sustainable transport in cities? Are there examples of good practice that could be reused and developed further according to the particular needs?

Organized by the Energy Policy Research Group (EPRG) and the Jean Monnet Chair in Energy and Innovation Strategies
