Masterclass with Peter Kerekes: Road movie of ideas: How to transfer the images inside the director’s brain to the brain of the audience

Peter Kerekes is a film director, producer and teacher. His film, Cooking History (2009), is a documentary about cooking in the army, and how it affects the victories and defeats of the soldiers. It won multiple awards, including the Best Documentary Award at Viennale, and was nominated for best documentary at the European Film Awards. Velvet Terrorists (2013), the story of three protagonists who opposed the communist regime in Czechoslovakia, was screened at Berlinale in 2014. In his masterclass, he will guide us through the making of a documentary, from researching and scriptwriting to directing.
