The talk will provide a frame of reference based on which financial services and investment professionals will be able to identify, assess and manage the risks related to future financial crises.*

Virág has a decade-long financial sector experience in the U.S. and Hungary. Since August 2019, she has been working as an attorney at a global pension fund’s investment office in New York, NY. She earned her JD from Eötvös Loránd University and her PhD in International Business Law from Central European University. She served as a Visiting Scholar at Fordham and Columbia Law Schools in 2016-17. She also earned an LLM in Business and Finance Law from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where she served as a Buergenthal Scholar.

Virág is the author of the book Banking Bailout Law: A Comparative Study of the United States, United Kingdom and the European Union (Routledge U.S. & U.K., Oct. 2020).
