Are you a highly motivated professional who is passionate about international development work?

On the 19th of March, CEU's Career Services Office will host an info session with a short presentation and a Q&A with Helen Galkan and Riina Hiirikoski from the Talent Planning, Acquisition, and Development Division of UNIDO.

UNIDO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that promotes industrial development for poverty reduction, inclusive globalization, and environmental sustainability with a mandate to promote and accelerate sustainable industrial development in developing countries and economies in transition.

During the event, the presenters will share useful insights and information on available internships, early career opportunities, and practical tips for a successful application. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions of UNIDO’s recruiters.

During this session you will learn more about:

  • Areas of expertise UNIDO looks for
  • Avenues of early-career opportunities (Consultancy opportunities, Junior Professional Pfficer (JPO) program, Partner-Experts (PE) Program, Internships)
  • How to complete the candidate profile in the UNIDO application system (including how to make your profile stand out and what should be included in the application)
