Make Your Own Plant Hanger - Macramé workshop

Do you like plants?
Do you like handcrafts?
Do you sometimes feel like creating?
Then this is a great workshop for you to combine the two passions! During this workshop you can make your own macrame plant hanger.
What will you need?
The most important is yourself, a big dose of enthusiasm and your favourite potted plant!
Plus a few little things you find in the description below:

- measuring tape (if you have)
- scissors
- min 45 meters (one bigger roll is enough) of 3-5 mm thick string

 

About the workshop leader:

Tünde Fülöp was born in Northern Hungary in a small village called Tuzsér. She moved to Budapest and received her BA diploma from Textile Design at the Moholy Nagy University of Art and Design in 2017. During her university studies, her works have been included on the Heimtextil international textile design fair in 2017/2018, her first tapestry work has been exhibited at International Tapestry 3/2017 and has been bought by the Savaria Museum in Szombathely, Hungary. Later she chose to specialize in tapestry weaving. In 2017/18 she had lived in Paris and created her first independent work, the series called "Steps", which has been exhibited in 2019 „Műtő” gallery, in Budapest, Hungary.
During the first year of her Textile Master studies, she had organized various workshops and her works have been and are currently exhibited in group exhibitions. Her Master’s degree work has been shortlisted at i-D and ARTSTHREAD Global Design Graduate Show 2020 in collaboration with Gucci. Her master’s fiber artwork „The Thread of My Life” has been included in the 7th International Triennial of Textile Arts in 2021. Currently, she lives and creates in Nagykovácsi, and continues being a student at MOME. She will receive her second MA diploma in Design and Visual Art Teacher in 2021.
