The Challenges and Complexities of ESG Reporting
Join us to learn about the challenges and increasing complexities faced by corporate reporting entities. Mikkel will talk about the proliferation of ESG reporting standards and frameworks, ESG ratings and the lack of ESG IFRS. He will discuss how a fragmented ESG reporting landscape leaves capital markets with non-comparable, unreliable and unaudited ESG data, and how this impedes proper integration of ESG into investment decisions.
Mikkel Skougaard | MOL Group
Mikkel is Head of ESG Reporting at MOL Group. He is a subject matter expert in ESG data, ratings, reporting and disclosure, having worked on three major parts of the ESG data and reporting value chain: external auditor, investor and corporate. He is a regular conference speaker and panel moderator on the topic of integrating ESG into both investor relations and corporate reporting. Mikkel previously worked for BlackRock, IBM and KPMG. He is a graduate of Aarhus University, Avans Hogeschool Breda and Copenhagen Business School.
