You are cordially invited to a hybid info session, taking place in Vienna and online, on the recently established Advanced Certificate in Romani Studies taking place on the 17th of September at 11am (Central European Time).
Starting from the 2021-22 AY, CEU students can be part of the recently founded Advanced Certificate Program in Romani Studies. The program is designed as an inclusive, inter-disciplinary advanced certificate program for Roma and non-Roma students pursuing their MA/PhD degree at CEU. The program is accredited in the State of New York, i.e. students could obtain a US Advanced Certificate in addition to your MA/PhD degree.
Our courses will allow you to learn more about theories, policies, legislation, and practices fundamental to addressing anti-Roma racism, you will explore the ways in which critical race theory relates to Romani communities, and you will have the opportunity to take part in additional activities such as workshops, lectures, or conferences.
