Datadat, a Budapest- and Vienna-based software and data company specialized in supporting a variety of political and social organizations, is excited to present a CEU-specific Political Consulting Internship Program on October 21st.

Representatives of Datadat will present this paid internship program designed specifically for CEU graduate students interested in politics, sociology, digital technology, and data-driven engagement. If you are a master's or doctoral student or recent graduate aspiring to dive deeper into how modern technologies transform the world of political campaigning, you are welcome to join and interact with Datadat's representatives, including CEU alumni.

During the event you will learn about:

  • Datadat’s work, mission, and values
  • The structure, conditions, and learning outcomes of the Political Consulting internship program
  • Information and tips on how to strengthen your application
  • Experiences of CEU graduates currently working for Datadat

Speakers:

Patrick Frank serves as Outreach Director for Datadat. Prior to this, he worked as the Outreach Director at ActBlue, where he oversaw the growth of the progressive online fundraising giant from 360 million dollars to over 9 Billion. He also worked on Barack Obama's campaigns for US President in both 2008 and 2012. He believes strongly in the power of grassroots donors to transform politics around the world, and has three cats.

Viktor Mak (DPP '19) is a Senior Project Manager at Datadat. After graduating from CEU in 2019 with a Public Administration degree, he became one of Datadat's first employees and was involved in the company's rapid growth from the start. Before joining Datadat, Viktor had a background in activism, mainly fighting against lexCEU in Hungary.

This event is intended for CEU graduate students and alumni.

This event will be held on campus in Vienna. Please register in advance. You will have an opportunity to indicate if you are not able to attend in person so that we can send you details for joining remotely.
