Faculty debate: Is intentionality the mark of the mental?

Is intentionality the mark of the mental? - Tim Crane is convinced that it is; Katalin Farkas holds the view that the mind has non-intentional features.

The debaters will briefly expound their position, will have an even briefer response, and then will take questions from the audience. At the beginning and at the end, we will take a vote from the audience on the two positions and hence will resolve at least one philosophical question.

Due COVID safety personal attendance is only available for philosophy students and faculty in QS Senate Room (B-319.) without registration.
