The format for this event has changed: It will now be held as a fully remote event.
Experiential learning is an opportunity to learn by doing. By engaging in internships, civic engagement, and extracurricular research, students have the opportunity to connect classroom learning to real world situations and problems. This is a chance to test things out, have an impact, develop knowledge and skills for the future, and learn how different organizations function.
In this interactive session, we will share tips for making the most of experiential learning. Whether experiential learning is a program requirement or because it’s an opportunity you wish to create for yourself, we will help you with strategies for creating the best possible experiential learning opportunity.
During this interactive online session you will learn:
- How to decide where to focus: internship, community engagement, research
- Steps for identifying the opportunity that makes most sense for you
- How to search for an internship host organization, a community engagement project, or a research opportunity of interest
- How to make the most of experiential learning
This session is required of CPS second-year students and open to PPE second-year students.
This event will be held via Zoom. Please register in advance to receive the link.
