As the United Nations lead agency on international development, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) works in 170 countries and territories to eradicate poverty and reduce inequality. UNDP helps countries to develop policies, leadership skills, partnering abilities, institutional capabilities, and to build resilience to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Connecting remotely from UNDP's headquarters in Copenhagen, Talent Acquisition Specialist Jean-Luc Marcelin is looking forward to present about UNDP's early-career opportunities for current CEU students and recent graduates. He will share useful insights and information on available positions and practical tips for a successful application. After a brief presentation, there will be ample time for Q&A.

Speaker:

Jean-Luc Marcelin worksJean-Luc Marcelin UNDP as a Partnerships and Talent Outreach Specialist with the Office of Human Resources (Talent Acquisition and People Programmes unit based in Copenhagen, Denmark). Jean-Luc is in charge of an array of activities and initiatives related to talent outreach and communication, EVP activation and social media presence; resource mobilization, partnerships and reporting; as well as programme development in a talent acquisition context. He is also involved in recruitment and selection activities to identify young talent for UNDP.

Jean-Luc graduated from the Institute of Political Sciences (SciencePo) in Paris. He has 25 years of work experience in cooperation and programme development activities, including 20 years with the UN. He is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Danish.
