 About this conversation

Recent years have brought a comprehensive understanding of the benefits heritage can have in our everyday lives. From health and wellbeing to the circular economy and mitigating climate change, heritage has been recognized as an important resource for the communities. Research and innovation projects have played a significant role and developed relevant tools for cultural heritage managers. Nevertheless, such large international projects are a challenging endeavor. How to create and lead a strong international consortium? How to keep partners engaged and motivated throughout the project? How to further connect research and academia with practice and administration? How to evaluate the success of conservation projects? Antonia Gravagnuolo will offer insights from her experience in coordinating Horizon2020 projects and impactful consortiums, as well as from working on the ground with citizens, policy makers, and authorities.
