Meet Your Instructors
Dr. Gabor Bekes received his MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, followed by his Ph.D. at CEU in 2007. His research is focused on international economics; economic geography and applied IO.
He is the co-author of a comprehensive textbook "Data Analysis for Business, Economics, and Policy" published by Cambridge University Pres in May 2021.
At CEU he teaches a sequence of Data Analysis courses: he provides future data analysts with the tools, methods, and skills needed to answer data-focused, real-life questions; to carry out data analysis; and to visualize and interpret results to support better decisions in business, economics, and public policy.
After the lecture Krisztina Szarvas, Program Manager for Business Master's will introduce you shortly the learning opportunities at CEU and a panel discussion is planned for answering all your questions regarding education and application.
