Gerold Permoser, the Chief Investment and Chief Sustainability Officer of Erste Asset Management will present insights into the firm’s investment philosophy and strategy.

Gerold Permoser has been Chief Investment Officer of Erste Asset Management since the beginning of April 2013.
In this function, he is responsible for all asset management activities and investment strategies of all investment funds of Erste Asset Management Group in Austria, Germany, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Hungary. Prior to joining the company, he held this position at Macquarie Investment Management Austria KAG. Permoser has experience in the investment sector since 1997.
He started his career as a fixed income analyst at Creditanstalt in Vienna. In 2000, he moved to the fund management department of Innovest KAG. There he was able to set significant accents in the investment area and then advanced to CIO (Head of Asset Allocation and Research).
Gerold Permoser studied at the University of Innsbruck and is a CFA charterholder. He lectures also at the University of Vienna and at various post-graduate trainings for analysts and portfolio managers (e.g.: at the Association of Austrian Investment Companies, VÖIG).
