Aki ismeri Várallyay Petrát, érti, hogy ha úgy jellemezzük a munkásságát, hogy különleges, akkor nem azért mondjuk ezt, mert valami hangzatosat szeretnénk mondani, hanem azért, mert egészen egyszerűen ez fedi legjobban a valóságot. Hegedűművész és zeneszerző, rengeteget kísérletezik az elektronikával, mindemellett pedig az improvizációnak is nagy mestere. Ezen a koncerten a legtöbb arcával találkozni fogunk, miközben a ZeneMűvektől már megszokott műsorvezetés fonja majd át CEU és a ZeneMűvek közösen szervezett kamarazenei sorozatának záró alkalmát.

Who knows Petra Várallyay, understands that when we define her work as special we don’t say it because we want to say something high-sounded, but simply because this is what is the truth. Violinist and composer, she experiments a lot with electronics and is a master of improvisation. During this last concert of CEU and ZeneMűvek’s common chamber music series we will meet most of her faces and ZeneMűvek as hosts, too.

Marcell Dénes-Worowski and Dénes Seidl are the founders of ZeneMűvek edutainment project.
With this initiative their aim is to give a new narrative to the relationship between young audience and classical music. The aim of their performances is to provide a direct tool for the audience so that their concert experience and listening to music in general becomes deeper and more complex.
In the framework of Central European University’s Young Musicians Concert Series they are going to show chamber music formations that are on one hand significant ensembles of the Hungarian classical music scene, on the other which make it possible to discover important segments of music literature (string quartet, acapella singing, Baroque musical forms, etc.).
