Guest speaker: Dafina Sylejmani, aka DACID GO8BLIN, artist, rapper, and founder of the FLINTA collective FEMME DMC
Dafina Sylejmani, also known as DACID GO8BLIN (*1989) is an Austrian artist, musician and rapper. Born in Albania, her work is characterized by a mixture of western beats mixed with sounds from her home country.
After arriving in Vienna, she got together with other artists and founded the FLINTA hip-hop collective FEMME DMC to fight against the underrepresentation of FLINTA rappers in the hip-hop scene.
FEMME DMC unites rappers, DJs, producers, dancers and artists by offering them a common stage. The whole collective stands for diversity and societal progress, focusing on self-empowerment and equality. In their words, what they create is what they represent.
