Graduate Fall Career Skills: Post-Doc Applications (Doctoral)

Whether you are interested in a tenure-track position in a university, are looking to become an established researcher, or aspire to join a governmental or non-profit organization, a post-doctoral role (or ‘post-doc’) can be a stepping-stone between your PhD and longer-term professional experience. 

During this session you will learn:

• How to choose a post-doc, keeping in mind your career goals: timing, sectors, location.
• Strategies for connecting with people who may be able to help move your post-doc search forward
• The most common application materials for a post-doctoral fellowship

The event is intended for CEU doctoral students beyond their first year.

The event will be held on campus in Vienna. Please register in advance. You will have an opportunity to indicate if you are not able to attend in person so that we can send you details for joining remotely.
