A Paramount Story tells the century-long life story of film pioneer Adolph Zukor, father of the American feature-film and the founder of Paramount Studios. This feature-length documentary, it is not only an intimate look at the golden age of the movie industry, but also an in-depth examination of Hollywood’s complicated relationship with immigrants, racism, minorities and societal intolerance. Mr. Zukor’s story has never been told in a documentary film and A Paramount Story recounts his incredible life and contributions to the film industry. This talk will explore the 40 year long journey to research, write and edit this documentary film.
