To live a meaningful life and have agency, we need to nourish our inner selves and find inner alignment. You will be guided through a sensory activation exercise and an inner child meditation accompanied by musical storytelling. After the inner journey follows a real-world manifestation through an intention setting through mandala drawing session. This workshop is set to introduce the participants to ways of self-exploration and healing and provide them with an experience to align their inner selves with their individual bodies, identities and memories.

The workshop is explicitly designed for those who want to explore and nourish their inner selves. The workshop intends to create a safe and intimate public space and is limited to 10-15 participants. Priority is given to those who register first.

Anna Zhu [she/her] is a Chinese-German founder and creative lead @crowdcontrol.network; storyteller, artist and interactivity designer @anarchyisonmymind. Anna has healed herself from life-long pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) suffering by transforming her life over years, doing mental work and making use of psychedelics. With the project __rainboweye she shares her insights and helps others with healing through sensing and meditation journeys and accelerates personal growth through personal development workshops and art.

Agnes Verano [she/her] is a musician @agnes_verano from Berlin, who is based in Vienna. Her songs are mellow and lyrical, while her authenticity seems sensitive and invulnerable at the same time. She tells stories about past encounters and bittersweet goodbyes, whereat melancholia and nostalgia melt. The created atmosphere gives a feeling of soft security which invites to daydream. Her sound is pure, timeless, carried by her bright voice, which she accompanies herself with piano or harp. Minimalistic - to not distract from what it is about: The fragile beauty of transience.

The workshop is part of the queer feminist and trans-cultural student-led event that presents an integrated performative and experimental workshop series on bodies, corpor(e)ality and empowerment. It takes place during international women’s history month, celebrated at Central European University (CEU) and will close a month full of feminist, critical, decolonial and subversive activities. The workshop series we offer aims to create a safe, intimate and queer feminist space. It wants to co-create a space for diverse sensations through art and craft possibilities for practicing and celebrating forms of non-normative embodied experiences and collective empowering ways of relating.

This event is part of the Art_Trans_Formations - A Workshop Series on non-hegemonic Corpor(e)ality & Empowerment.
