TRAUMA AND TRAUMA MANAGEMENT

What constitutes a trauma? Why do some adverse life events have a traumatic impact on us and others do not? What symptoms are commonly associated with trauma, and what treatment options are there? This webinar tries to tackle those questions to give you a concise introduction to trauma, focusing on its history and development in psychiatry, discussing trauma related disorders such as PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), as well as the concept of post traumatic growth.
