The Department of Public Policy brings you the Policy Talks Series as a way to engage critically with today's global and local issues. Our speakers range from policy practitioners and researchers to diplomats and agency leaders to NGO and social responsibility leaders. The events feature a panel discussion, followed by a Q&A session, and a reception. Drinks and snacks will be offered.

Overview: The policy talk will introduce the mission, objectives, and activities of the European Labour Authority (ELA) in contributing to the fair and effective labour mobility within the EU, taking into account the changing world of work. The lecture will also provide insights into ELA’s work on addressing shortages and surpluses in Europe and ELA’s plans to further facilitate labour mobility, including by tapping the potential of digital tools.
