Get an Advanced Certificate in Romani Studies at Central European University!
Come join us on Thursday, 14 September at 5 pm to learn more about how you can pursue a Romani Studies certificate alongside your MA or PhD degree track at CEU.
This will be a chance to meet returning Advanced Certificate in Romani Studies students as well as the CEU faculty who are teaching courses included on the ACRS mandatory and elective course list.
As we believe that creating a sense of community and building strong ties between faculty, staff, and students are both vital parts of an academic program, and it would mean a great deal to us to have everyone in the CEU community interested in Romani Studies present with us at this gathering.
We will start with a round of introductions.
The meeting will also include introductory overviews of the Romani Studies Foundation Courses:
Course Introduction Session with Márton Rövid with RSP5066 Patterns of exclusion, dilemmas of inclusion: Roma policies and politics in the 21st century (Fall Term)
Course Introduction Session with Professor Angela Kocze RSP5061 Critical Approaches to Romani Studies (Winter Term)
We'll discuss some details about the AC in Romani Studies, and then continue on talking over drinks and food.
