This colloquium talk is planned as an in-person event. Registration is only required for non-CEU members.

ABSTRACT

This talk will review three proposals for a multiverse. The first is philosophical: the collection of all possible worlds. The second and third are physical: the branches in Everettian quantum theory, and the bubble universes in inflationary cosmology. I will end by relating them; and assessing which, if any, we should believe in.
