Take a stride towards Solidarity and Against Gender Based Violence

Join us as we take strides against gender-based violence with our "Run Like a Girl" campaign, part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence movement. Our running is symbolic of the fight against gender-based violence and the resilience of those affected by it.

Running with keys between fingers is a stark reminder of the vigilance FLINTA people must maintain in public spaces. It's a symbol of the fear that many feel when alone or in vulnerable situations. Our campaign reclaims this narrative, transforming a tool of self-defense into a symbol of empowerment. We run to take back the streets, to stand up against the notion that public spaces are not safe for everyone, and to demand change.

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that starts from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.  The campaign calls for global action to increase awareness, galvanize advocacy efforts, and share knowledge to call for the prevention of gender-based violence.
