Join us for a fundraising exhibition as part of the campaign for 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence. This fundraiser is organized by students and community members at CEU as a response to the global call to action to end gender based violence.

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that starts from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.  The campaign calls for global action to increase awareness, galvanize advocacy efforts, and share knowledge to call for the prevention of gender-based violence.

This interactive art exhibition will showcase the creative activism of CEU Student Rifka Fehr, whose artwork serves as a powerful form of expression and a call to action. You can explore more about Rifka Fehr and her work on her website -

Women Against Violence Europe (WAVE) is the beneficiary of this fundraising event. 80% of the proceeds go to WAVE and 20% to the artist.

WAVE’s mission is to enable all women and their children to live free from violence, particularly through strengthening and sustaining a European network of women’s specialized support and prevention services, experts and survivors; to share expertise and experience to prevent, challenge, address and ultimately end male violence against women and their children, through an intersectional feminist approach.

Where: Tredici e mezzo (Lindengasse 53, 1070)

When: 25th of November, 6pm
