The CIVICA workshop "Uncovering Historical Mechanisms of Persistence" will focus on examining the mechanisms behind the lasting impacts of historical events on contemporary outcomes. Professor Sascha Becker from Monash University will deliver the keynote address.
This workshop, hosted by CEU, aligns with CIVICA's research themes, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration in the quantitative social sciences, including economics, economic history, political science, and sociology. Organized by Michael Dorsch and Anand Murugesan, it serves as a catalyst for productive engagement and partnerships within the CIVICA network.
