With 57 member states from across Europe, Central Asia, and North America, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is the world's largest regional security organization. The OSCE addresses issues that have an impact on common security, including arms control, terrorism, good governance, energy security, human trafficking, democratization, media freedom and national minorities.

CEU's Career Services Office is looking forward to hosting an OSCE representative for an online info session and Q&A on February 9th 2024.

During this session you will learn more about:

  • Vacancies at OSCE are open for competition only amongst nationals of its 57 participating States.

Speakers: 

Oda Leikvoll is an Associate Talent Acquisition Officer at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe(OSCE), working on standard recruitments, in addition to being the JPO Co-Ordinator for the OSCE JPO Programme. She studied international development at the Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway. Before being seconded to the OSCE, she worked for the Norwegian Refugee Council as a Deployment Adviser responsible for the Duty of Care and Security for seconded personnel working with; Elections Observation, Conflict Sexual Related Violence (CRSV) with UN Peace Keeping Missions, Safety of Journalist with UNESCO, OSCE and EU secondments.

Matin Gasimzade is a Talent Acquisition Assistant at OSCE with more than 2 years of HR experience in three international organizations, including IAEA and CTBTO. He holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business from the Central European University, class of 2022. Throughout his experience, he has led various projects to improve the recruitment processes and systems, and to promote the organizations as competitive employers. His ambition now is to help the OSCE hire the best talent for its mission and vision.
